Case Study: Castle Group – Level 1 Office Upgrade

Project Overview

Castle Group required a full upgrade of their 650sqm “Stage 1” office floor on Level 1 to accommodate their 80 staff members. DNP Projects delivered a construction-only fitout that transformed the existing space into a modern, functional, and collaborative workplace.

Brief & Objectives

The goal was to create a fully refreshed office environment while retaining only five existing offices, repurposed into new meeting rooms. Key objectives included:

• Optimising space for 80 staff members

• Enhancing collaboration and circulation with curved half-height walls

• Integrating modern technology and security

• Delivering a functional, aesthetically appealing environment on a tight timeline

Scope of Works

• Full demolition of the 650sqm floor (10 truck trips)

• Conversion of existing offices into new meeting rooms

• Curved half-height walls to improve entry flow

• Fully integrated security systems

• Collaboration with in-house Design Manager Ric Ranieri

• New 3-piece kitchen joinery with stone benchtops

• Flooring throughout: acoustic carpet tiles and vinyl in wet areas

• Painting throughout the suite

• Upgraded blinds and installation of TVs in meeting rooms

• Additional electrical works including data and power for 60+ workstations

Delivery & Outcome

The project commenced in early December and was completed by 7th January, meeting Castle Group’s requested timeline. The upgraded office now supports staff productivity and collaboration while offering a modern, comfortable workplace. The seamless transition into the new space demonstrates careful planning, efficient construction, and collaborative design execution.
